At Covenant Living of Golden Valley, we proudly honored the 50 veterans who call our community home this Veterans Day. Residents like Marine Corps veteran Mark Nelson and Navy veteran Tom Perks reflected on their service, sharing stories that highlight both the pride and challenges of military life.
Mark shared, “A Marine never retires; he’s always a Marine — lifetime.” Tom recounted the impact of his service and the changing recognition of Vietnam veterans over the years.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to these remarkable individuals. Their stories and sacrifices inspire us every day. Thank you to all our veterans for your service!
